Fulbright Center, Finland - University of Helsinki - International Masters ProgramDeadline 02/01/2010DescriptionThe University of Helsinki is a multilingual institution providing education in several languages. In addition to the two national languages, Finnish and Swedish, programmes are being developed and offered also in English. Students in the International Master's Degree Programmes (IMDP) find themselves in a truly international learning environment with – a mixture of students from Finland and across the globe. The extent of each IMPD is 120 ECTS credits. Two years of intensive full-time study is required of the student for graduation. All programmes are streamlined with the current European legistlation and, therefore, recognised throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The overall quality of the programmes is ensured by a university-wide quality assurance system as well as by an international assessment of all research and education carried out by a group of globally-known experts every six years. Several International Master’s Degree Programmes are in the making at the University of Helsinki. Some of the programmes are provided jointly by the University of Helsinki and other Finnish or foreign universities. These pages are updated as soon as new programmes are finalised and ready to admit students. Contact InformationUniversity of Helsinki Email: Last updated: 11/05/2009 Back to funding list |
