ARC - Guidelines
The ARC 2008 program will run for 8 weeks from June 23rd - August 15th.
If you are accepted into ARC, you will be provided with a stipend, room and board and opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities. Participants will be selected on the basis of the fit between their interests and those of participating UCSB faculty and on the intellectual promise of the applicant.
To be eligible to apply you must:
- Be an undergraduate currently enrolled as a junior or be a CSU Pre-Doctoral student.
- Have a 3.0 GPA
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Be available for the full duration of the program
- Meet the application deadline of February 1, 2008
- Be interested in promoting diversity in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics.
- NOTE: Psychology or Geography majors must be pursing a B.S. or M.S. (B.A./M.A. in these two disciplines does not meet the criteria).
