Diversity & Outreach

GSAW April 14– April 18, 2008
The UCSB Community and the Graduate Division heartily thank all of our fine graduate students who help make UCSB such a vibrant academic community.
Graduate students play a vital role in all aspects of our university community, from their inspired work as researchers to the many hours they dedicate to teaching, and graduate student success is inextricably linked to the success of our university!
In recognition of the many contributions of UCSB graduate students, the 4th Annual Graduate Student Appreciation Week will be held the week of April 14th – April 18th, 2008.
The UCSB Graduate Division is coordinating a number of campus-wide activities to recognize the excellence of our graduate students and to honor the role they play in enriching the quality of research, undergraduate teaching, and education at UCSB.
We also want to acknowledge graduate students for their diverse participation in public service activities in the communities of Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Isla Vista.
Please join us in this week of exciting activities!
