Applications
UC LEADS applications are available
online. In addition to the application, please submit a faculty recommendation
letter and unofficial transcripts by May 15, 2008 to the following address:

Finding a Mentor
Please assist us with the application process by indicating potential mentors on your application. To find mentors, go online to Departments & Programs, select the department(s) of interest to you, and review the faculty biographies. If the faculty research is similar to what you would like to study, please provide the faculty names, emails, and departments on your application. Applicants may contact faculty directly to make the match or the UC LEADS Program can make the initial contact.
Selection
Applications will be reviewed and final applicants will have an interview. Once mentors and research projects are confirmed, the Graduate Dean will review all applications and make final selection of UC LEADS Scholars. Applicants who cannot be matched with mentors or if there is a lack of funding available for the number of qualified applicants, will not be admitted to the program.
