U.S. News and World Report

The U.S. News and World Report Graduate School rankings use the program as the unit of analysis. Rankings in engineering and education are based on assessment surveys, student selectivity including GRE scores and acceptance rates, faculty resources, and research activity. Rankings in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities are primarily based on surveys of academics in their respective fields. Specialty rankings, based on ratings from department heads, are also available for some areas. USNWR rankings may be more heavily influenced by reputational data.
