GRAD 210
College and University Teaching // From Theory to Practice

This first-ever course offering from the UCSB Graduate Division is designed for graduate students interested in a career in college and university teaching. 

Students will gain experience in applying pedagogical theories and evidence-based teaching into course design, implementation, assessment and evaluation.

Launching this Spring 2017, the course will be taught by Dr. Lisa Berry, co-chair of the UCSB Faculty Advisory Board. Dr. Robert Hamm, director of Graduate Division Graduate Student Professional Development, will co-teach the course later this year.  


This Spring 2017 quarter, GRAD 210 lectures will be held on Tuesdays, 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., while discussion sessions will be held on Thursdays, 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Both lecture and discussion sections are scheduled in Arts 1356.
