Voter Registration
A voter registration drive sponsored by the UCSB Voter Registration Volunteer Coalition and Associated Students is taking place during the fall quarter. Billed as a “2-fer” (register once, vote twice) registration enables students to vote in both the February 5 California presidential primary election and the Local District Supervisorial election on June 3. It is necessary to re-register if you have moved, changed your name or wish to change you political affiliation. There are two official UCSB Voter Registration sites on campus, located in front of the University Center and in the Arbor corridor. For more voter information access the UCSB Voter Registration website at
www.sa.ucsb.edu/voterreg. Students may register online at the California Secretary of State Elections Division at
http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections.htm. Additionally, voter registration forms are available at various campus locations including the Post Office, Student Resource Building Information Center and the Graduate Student Association (GSA) Lounge.
